NORTHSTAR Resort is somewhat northwest of Lake Tahoe which can be seen from select points on Mt. Pluto, the peak of the resort.

The ski area is 3170 acres, 20 lifts, 350 inches snowfall/year, 100 trails, 13% Green, 60% Blue, 27% Black.

The Northstar Village has a small footprint because all the buildings are 4 or 5 stories tall with the upper levels being residential. The condos are all modern, well appointed/equipped, and many have balconies. We will be lodged in several buildings all very close together and all within a 3 minute walk to the main gondola, some literally across the pedestrian walkway from the gondola. All have an elevator, and ski lockers on the ground floor.

Fly American to Charlotte, overnight flight to Munich arriving Saturday morning March 8th.  We will travel by motor coach on a beautiful scenic drive to Selva, Val Gardena; the highest village in the Dolomites. We ski the Sellaronda in the Dolomiti Superski area which is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. Skiers and non-skiers alike will enjoy the spectacular scenery of this picturesque valley surrounded by the Dolomite mountain range. After Val Gardena we will travel to the ancient Roman walled city of Verona, the setting for Romeo and Juliet. Spend March 15th &16th exploring Verona and then March 17thtravel to Venice for St. Patrick’s Day! Fly home from Venice March 18th.

Travel from PNS to Orlando for our overnight flight to Keflavik for our introduction to Iceland!  We will spend 5 nights in Healdsburg, CA, with 7 wine tasting/ tour events, cheese, olive oil tastings, food and wine pairing event, cooking class, a guided visit to see the Redwoods. and much more. We will offer options to shop, paddleboard down the Russian River, Golf @ the magical Northwood Golf Club - 9 holes amidst towering Redwoods. We love San Francisco. We are flying into and out of there, as well.
